The vast majority of a person’s sun damage occurs before the age of 18. Spreading awareness about sun protection and specifically sunscreen early in life can have a material impact on the likelihood of today’s children being diagnosed with skin cancer later in life.
Here at Sunscreen for Life we are making a difference by spreading the word about sun protection! We make fun, easy to understand presentations that are tailored to the size and age of the students. We love working with all ages and we can accommodate most class sizes, even assemblies! We also speak at community centers and present to local sports teams! Here is how to get started:
It’s as easy as 1-2-3! 
1.      First, pick a presentation length:
  • 15 minute Presentation: Overview of sun protection basics with interactive questions.
  • 30 minute Presentation: Overview of sun protection basics, a group activity, and a quick quiz with fun prizes!
2. Second, pick an age group!
  • Elementary (please pick subcategory)
  • Transitional Kindergarden+ Kindergarden
  • 1st-3rd Grade
  • 4th-5th Grade
  • Middle School/ Junior High
  • 6-8th grade
  • Highschool
  • 9th-12th grade
3. What size group?
  • -Less than 10 students
  • -10-20
  • 20-30
  • 30+
At the end of each presentation, we provide a small review hand out to our newly educated sunscreen officials to bring home for future reference! Winners of quiz questions will win prizes such as Sunscreen for Life T-shirts!
